This project's goal is to create a multi-modal project that proves RC3's mission, vision, and values are put into action, using curated evidence from RC3's public-facing materials.

Vision

"Acquire authentic options, workforce employability, Readiness, Commitment, Creativity, and Collaboration"

RC3 allows students to get a job straight out of high school through simulated workplaces, SkillsUSA, FCCLA, and other CTE programs.

Mission

"Connect passion with purpose, simulated workplace, soft skills, career competence"

RC3 allows students to try out different academies to find their calling and provides students with soft skills such as resume building, email skills, marketing, and public speaking.

Values

RC3 provides certifications, hands-on learning, and internships with companies around the area, including Grandview, Hoover City Schools, and various car dealerships around the Hoover area.

RC3 teaches students to respect their teachers and peers as if they were bosses and coworkers in a professional environment.

Evidence from Our Academies

In the Cyber Innovations Academy, students have instructors who have specialty knowledge about networking as well as up and coming technologies. The labs, server racks, and other hands-on equipment demonstrate how RC3 provides industry-relevant resources.

The Automotive Academy has instructors with a lot of experience working with real engines, hydraulic lifts, and diagnostic equipment. Students learn from hands-on demonstrations and guidance from instructors who understand both basic mechanics and advanced automotive systems.

In the Culinary Academy, qualified instructors provide instruction in kitchen and baking environments, food safety and handling, and cooking techniques. The organized storage areas and various equipment help to teach proper food storage and organization.

RC3's commitment to reliable information resources and materials is evident through its comprehensive certification programs and state-of-the-art equipment across all academies. The curriculum is augmented by industry-standard tools and resources that directly support student learning and career advancement.

Certification and Resource Evidence

Cyber Innovations Academy: Students have access to Cisco and CompTIA networking certifications, with servers, routers, and professional networking equipment provided. Enabling hands-on learning experiences. The lab environment and organized storage of spare parts demonstrate RC3's investment in reliable, current technology.

Automotive Academy: The AllData systems and S/P2 safety training provide students with industry-standard information and tools. Working with engines, hydraulic lifts, and tire machines offer learning materials that prepare students for real automotive careers.

Culinary Academy: ServSafe certification materials and kitchen equipment provide resources for food safety and professional cooking training. The organized storage systems and walk-in refrigeration reflect the standards expected in culinary careers.

Supporting Personal Interests

RC3's approach to learning allows students to explore their personal interests within their chosen fields. Whether a student is interested in automotive, cyber, culinary, or any of the other academies that RC3 offers, they provide the materials and resources necessary to pursue these interests at a professional level.
